Fashion

Fashion fades, only style remains the same. – Coco Chanel, 1883 – 1971
Fashion is fluid – changing, adapting and growing. It is many things to many people and often tracks our progression through culture and time. As the convergence of various media have been aligned through progress and technology, this fusion has also been reflected through fashion and print.

My background started in the print media sector, connected to advertising and large format printing. This knowledge has given me an intimate understanding of the trends, systems and methods for print.

I have worked as a screenprinter, and print prepress manager as well as controlling workflows for print firms. This has grown my awareness of print styles, print media and print applications. I have become a specialist in print applications for garments through this knowledge.

I have designed probably in excess of 300 designs for print garments and have sampled or printed around 200 designs over the last 5 years. I have worked on projects big and small and have done everything from design through to sampling and overseas production runs.
